On the up...

Work is going well. I am again the toast of the office, and it's like the disappointed looks and thinly-veiled warnings I was receiving just 8 weeks ago are a thing of the past. Not to be immodest, but over the last 2 months I have outpaced every other single executive in North America in terms of revenue generated for the company. And I have done it through sheer hard work and persistence, which makes the sweet that much sweeter.

It's funny how fortunes can change so quickly - and I am not taking it for granted nor do I have any delusions that this will be the norm, but I am enjoying my time in the spotlight. I think there is a lesson here somewhere, for anyone struggling or not feeling comfortable with their position in life: be positive, be persistent and work hard to accomplish your goals. If you do that, nothing can stand in your way. (Can you tell I am listening to Tony Robbins on my iPod??)
