The Tube

This post is for all those in London, or who have had the opportunity to visit the City. Nearly everyone I know talks about how easy it is to get around using the "tube" or subway. The primary reason for that is the exceptional subway map. I chanced upon a BBC documentary of the design of the map, and you can find it here.

I had the chance to use the aforementioned map recently, and I never once thought about how this amazingly simple visual representation of an inordinately complicated rail system made my travel experience so much easier. For those who have used the London Underground, this doc will be fascinating - for others maybe not as much, though it is still a good look at modern design.
