27 yikes....
Tomorrow I am 27 years old. I am on the verge of old age, or maybe I'm already there. There's a depressing post somewhere in this topic, but I refuse to write it. Instead I'm continuing with the next wildly popular (so I'm told) installments of:
Song of the Day:
We Didn't Start the Fire - Billy Joel. You can't beat these lyrics:
"Birth control, Ho Chi Minh, Richard Nixon back again
Moonshot, Woodstock, Watergate, punk rock
Begin, Reagan, Palestine, terror on the airline
Ayatollah's in Iran, Russians in Afghanistan
"Wheel of Fortune", Sally Ride, heavy metal, suicide
Foreign debts, homeless vets, AIDS, crack, Bernie Goetz
Hypodermics on the shores, China's under martial law
Rock and roller cola wars, I can't take it anymore"
Life is....
that exact euphoric moment before your tired head touches the pillow, clearing your mind and rendering everything else that happened during the day meaningless.
(Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about.)

Let me be the first to say Happy Birthday Big guy!
If I were a betting man, and I happen to be one, I'd bet on you cause you're my winning horse this year buddy.... but not on a Tuesday.
...Front row seats for you, on the house...
And the song of the day is the classic: "Happy Birthday to You". This timeless classic explores powerful emotions with a catchy uplifting melody that sings well in the hearts of all.

Well, since I can't be the first, allow me to be the 2nd...Big Mazel, Good Things Mart-o...Good things!
By the by, you're certainly causing me to rethink my blog approach. I applaude the new format - and the two songs thus far - on par, indeed.
