Not so informative update

You might have noticed that my blog output has deteriorated of late and for that my faithful reader(s), you have my apologies, though I hesitate to promise more frequent updates. I am back from Cancun and the trip already seems like a fading memory, one that I will surely recall on distant damp, rainy days or when next I find myself in the numbing throes of winter's chilly embrace. It was an unbelievable vacation, a great much-needed rest and for the time being I remain rejuvenated and ready again to take on the world.

I actually have finished a much-delayed shisha/hookah/nargila session on my balcony and perhaps that is why I am waxing rhetoric. With a bowl of chopped fruit and berries and the Arabic-tinged sounds of Buddha Bar filling as soundtrack, it was another needed escape from everyday monotony. As my eyes slowly acclimatised to the dark cityscape in front of me, the flavour-filled smoke filling my lungs, I came to the realization that the Bedouins or whoever invented this stuff were on to something. After a few puffs I felt no stress, no worries, in fact no thoughts at all (well, besides those of the Bedouins and their long-wandering genius).

And that is where my night ends. I will, at some point, be back. To blog away of my adventures, and misadventures, my aim to provide myself with a few moments of self-reflection, and perhaps entertain a little along the way.
